Fort Worth record label Matte Black Sound Company has teamed up with craft tequila company El Tequileńo to offer The Best Kept Secret Sessions - a series of recording sessions showcasing artists that you might not have heard of, but will fall in love with soon enough. This release features the Austin-based rock n’ roll band Western Youth.

MBSC is proud to team up with El Tequileńo, a company that pursues the same passionate commitment to their craft as we do. Though they have been providing their spirits for the town of Tequila for over 60 years, they remain one of Mexico's best kept secrets. As they venture outside of Mexican markets for the first time in their history, we want to shine a light on their story just as much as we shine a light on the great artists we have crossed paths with over the years. In a similar way, we believe that it's hard for things to stay a secret when they're this good.

All proceeds from this collaboration will go to the city of Fort Worth’s Creative Industry Relief Fund, a collaborative effort with United Way to help offset the losses in the creative community due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
